Warning: May contain spoilers.

Sorry about the late review, I have bad memory so I had to rewatch the episode so I could jot my memory on the high and low points of the episode.

The first thing, let's talk about Bran. This whole 'Let's not bring the Reeds in until the third season!' thing is very irksome. They did introduce them in a nice way, but now Bran is a whole season behind on his warging. He should already be able to merge with Summer. That's really the biggest problem I have. The scene where Jojen meets Summer is simply fantastic. Summer already knows. He's like 'Oh, shit this dude's cool.' And wanders off. (let me pause for a second to say how fucking gorgeous Summer is. Holy cow!) Overall, they did this part alright. I understand the budget restraints, blah blah blah. At this point GRRM is going to have to kill people off just so they can afford casting new characters. Also, the casting for Jojen Reed is simply amazing. I love this kid so much. I have a feeling he's going to do great things for this role.

Alright, next up is Robb and Talisa Stark. First off, I don't like her. I wanted cute, shy little Jeyne Westerling and everything she brought to the table. I wanted Robb to make a mistake out of grief, and fix it with honor. Not this Robb who's just acting like a bratty teenager 'I do what I want, I don't care if the whole of the North pays for me liking this girl.' That's not Robb. I wouldn't mind Talisa if that were different.
While we're in the Riverlands, let's move to Catelyn. What the shit is going on with this character? 'I begged Ned to make him one of us?' No. Nope. Not even. Why? Why did the producers think this was a good idea? Why did George let them think it was a good idea? No. Nope. You know? That's all I'm going to say on the subject.

Next let's talk about Brienne and Jaime. I love love love the banter between these two. It's very well done. It fits in with what I expect, and it feels real between the actors. Nikolaj and Gwendoline have very very good chemistry. Again, superb casting.
One of my favorite quotes from this episode:
I'm not interested in foul rumors...     Unless they're about me?
Next stop! King's Landing, where a very different Cersei and Joff are prepping for the wedding. Am I the only one who thinks that Joffrey is a lot different from the books? Jack does a great job, but we see too much of him I think. He doesn't seem... quite as bad. The only time we really see him in the books is from Sansa's point of view, and she sees him in the worst light possible. I do love how Joff talks to Cersei in the show though. It makes my insides sing. I think I hate Cersei more than I hate Joff, so it's nice to see someone back talk her a little. Although, if she would have bitch slapped him as a child, we might not have this problem that we have today.
The scene between Joff and Margaery is very new, but I thought it was a nice addition. She's very smart, very quick in the way that she covers her tracks with him. I like the look on her face when Joff says 'I was thinking about making his perversion punishable by death' she has to compose herself a bit, but she jumps right back in the saddle. She's very good at manipulating him. He doesn't even realize what's happening. Though I suppose that's the definition of manipulation...

Next up is Fucking Shae! I cannot even talk about how much this shit pisses me off. I understand that she's a whore and she's supposed to act like she cares, but not this much. Not this good. She doesn't care about Sansa. She doesn't love Tyrion, she's a back stabbing wench who deserves what she gets. Speaking of Sansa... Let me change topics before I lose my cool here...
Sansa is becoming more tolerable, she does in the books too, but it takes her a while. Then again I might be leaning towards 'okay' because I have read the books and I know she gets better. Anymoose, this week she was brought before Olenna Tyrell for well, questioning. No nice way to put it. Again, they did a great job with this scene, the only thing missing was Butterbumps. I have been looking forward to seeing that scene since I read it. I was very interested in hearing 'The Bear and the Maiden Fair'. And that didn't happen, it's small, but I've been slighted.

I like the torture scene with Theon. I think that we really need that as fans. We want him to pay for Winterfell. I love how they've made Theon out in the series, I do. But I feel like we need a bit of payment. I also like that they're kinda playing the 'Hidden Ramsay' game. Though I don't know why. He's not hiding in Winterfell, trying to get Theon to do crazy things, he's just there. Mind games most like. Ramsay is like that.

Why the hell is Orell still alive?! He was supposed to be dead, and Varamyr was to take his eagle. But who cares? They make up their own characters anyways. They don't need a roadmap. They've got this shit.

And finally, Arya. I hate hate hate that Thoros was singing 'Rains of Castamere'. They're really just driving the dagger in on that one, aren't they? I like that they're fleshing Anguy out a bit, he seems like a good character to do that with. The actor is good, and who doesn't like a badass archer? I kinda like that the Hound recognized her, though I also thought that Harwin recognizing her was very heartwarming. Here was someone she knew. Someone who she thought was going to make everything better for her again. For just a moment, she was home. Another thing, why the hell don't they have her killing people and shit? She's not nearly as badass as she is in the book. This is highly disappointing.

Overall, a much better episode. I thought it was good, minor changes (save for that nasty Cat bull crap) and it is leading us into good places. I give this episode a solid 8.
I'm looking forward to next week and hopefully will get a review up sooner next week!
